Is there any way I can I buy an app now, but not gift it for a few weeks? I ask this due to the number of sales, but still a month to Christmas - I just thought it would be a cheap, easy way out! (and the fact that I won't look cheap when the sale is over, if they check out the app price!)
Gift the app to yourself for the sale price and then forward them the email whenever you want. The promo code should not expire (not 100% sure on that) But at minimum they last 30 days. That's how long dev promos last anyway..
I often did this, as apple has not reduced the payment to creditcard only, shame on you apple! I've chosen: print this gift... you get a nice card with code on it you can save with screenshot. anyways I got C&C in May or so and traded the code last week, and it still worked
