Hey guys... I'm new here and I don't know where else to post this, so here goes:

I think I may have stumbled onto something, but if this is common knowledge, please go easy on me and delete the thread!

The frogs in the pond(the ones you can breed with) seem to lead you straight to the presents and other frogs. I was bored with having to tame another frog in the pond again and decided to follow the direction the "wild" frogs were facing to see what happens. After a dozen jumps or so, I ran right into a present.

Often times a frog will show me the way to another frog, and that frog will be facing in another direction. I then change course and follow the direction of the latest frog and BAM... a present! Sometimes it takes about 5 or 6 froggy friends to get to the goods. I do not think this is a fluke. It works just about every time. I was hoping other people could try it and see if it works for them as well.

Again, if everyone already knows this, I'm sorry and I'll walk away in shame!:p

I suppose its possible, never thought of it like that though. A few times when I was chasing a frog I would find a present shortly after.

Interesting observation. I tried it out and it did indeed work.

How do you stalk them without breeding?

Yay! I'm glad to see it works for others!

You never want to disturb the "wild" frogs. Don't jump on their lily pad. When you see one, simply observe what direction they are facing and then head that way.

I think you are on to something. I just tried it with three different frogs for a bit and found quite a few packages this way.

Nice!! I'll give it a go for sure! So this is just when you see them the first time, not after they are eluding you right? Damn frogs sometimes jump 4-5 times before I can catch them!;)

    +1

    I think this works!

A way to discredit it would be find a wild frog very near a present that's facing the wrong way.

I found a couple and they were looking straight at the present!

    Hmmm

Just followed the direction of about 15 frogs, just kept finding more frogs ! Maybe I should try using a different frog.

  15. The only problem with this is that the whole pond is randomized around you - for example, follow a frog and backtrack onto your path to see what I mean.

    This happening is merely chance.
