I am looking for more high quality easy games. I'm thinking about games that are well known, generally well loved, and have lots of polish and are not boring, despite being easy. It's okay if there is an additional difficulty level that is not easy, but, the easy game should still be fun, not like in some games where 1 star is guaranteed just for starting the level. Also, I'm not looking for throwing/flinging physics games, but I know other people like them, so feel free to mention them, but only if they're really super polished. Not looking for a list of 100 Angry Birds clones. No highscore games. I am looking for games that can be finished. Some examples: Plants vs Zombies Pudding Monsters Where's My Water/Perry Mikey Shorts (easy but still fun to finish, hard to master) I know that difficulty is super subjective and that most people on this forum will find many games easy that are not that easy to most people, but I think those examples give a general idea of what I feel is easy enough. Plants vs Zombies is the best example, since it doesn't have the 3-star system where you still feel like you've not really finished the game if you don't get all the stars, and getting all the stars is, of course, not that easy. I am not looking for games that can be made easy by purchasing IAP, they should be accessible from the start.
Tried these? Karateka Luna Bears Rayman Jungle Run Momonga Pinball (my mom and my sister likes it, but some objectives are a little more luck-based than difficult) Paper Monsters Apocalypse Max Squids Contre Jour Zombie Parkour Runner (not endless, and the 3 stars can easily be achieved by finding the path that gives most stars and the collectibles) The Walking Dead Zombies Clear Vision Clear Vision 2 Capt America Puzzle Craft
Yikes, how could I forget Luna Bears?! Perfect example indeed. And I think Crazy Hedgy fits as well. It has been a while since I finished that, but I think it was relatively easy to finish. I found Rayman Jungle Run rather difficult (I must be missing something because I remember reading in the thread back then that people complained that the game basically played itself). I read so many good things about Momonga, but I never liked Pinball (I really detested the Pinball stages in Sonic games for example). Will still keep it in mind! Thanks for the big list, will check them out!
EP as always has a good list, I will try to think of some too, but guess you are saying you want a good, somewhat easy, highly polished, and not inapp polished game. I'm pretty much the same way, so will list some later when I got time.
The game you're looking for is Devil's Attorney. You play an amoral lawyer who defends a cast of crooked clients in court. The money you earn allows you to buy upgrades and gain new abilities to use in court. Requires some strategy but overall it's easy, fun, and has very high production values. Good voice acting and theme song, no IAP. https://itunes.apple.com/app/devils-attorney/id562772514?mt=8
Here's a list of five: Cordy 2 Lili March on oz(it's similar to plants vs. zombies) Fibble(only game that has the cry engine on mobile) Squids/squids Wild West Check those titles out and let me know what you think..
My top polished games list has updated quite recently and is the following: 1. Cyto 2. Gesundheit! 3. Spirits 4. Nihilumbra 5. Contre Jour They all have unique style and quality.
Thanks for all the replies! I'll check them out, but that will take a while. I have an iPad 1, so I'm not able to play all the games that are suggested, but I'm sure the list is useful for others as well.
The newly released Toy Story: Smash It! is actually pretty good, and definitely a no-stres game. And +1 to Wake the Cat from Andy's post.
hmmmm.... Granny Smith Lost Winds Incoboto (mini?) Frogger Decades Rocket Bunnies Sleepy Jack Man In A Maze Glowfish Roboto Little Acorns Gluddle Last Rocket
Bean's Quest certainly has no shortage of style and polish, particularly if you go into settings and set the controls to invisible. The difficulty level to simply clear the levels and see the ending is moderate, I think, but the difficulty to accomplish the three sub goals gets insane in no time - especially jump pars.
