To help teach a complete utter noob how to code, if they want to dive straight into learning for iOS?
utter noob = no programming experience at all? then.. Programming in Objective-C 2.0 (2nd Edition) by Stephen Kochan (not strictly ios, but a great place to start) after that go through the apple developer resources and then you can either get a good ios book (cant think of a specific one now) or go around the net and do as many tutorials as you can. google or youtube - ios tutorial. plenty to keep you busy. great sites for tutorials: http://mobileorchard.com http://mobile.tutsplus.com/ http://www.71squared.com/ http://www.raywenderlich.com/ p.s. lots of threads already on this topic.
