Awful, since few days I noticed a flat area at top of my finger and believed it's been caused by a burn I didn't noticed. But today I realized it was a callus. Usually you get a callus because you do too much manual work, but at this part of the finger, it's a clear callus from ipad gaming. Weird, I probably played too much games using a lot of swipe commands. No I don't play that much particularly those last days. Is it just me?
Too much manual labour? You get calluses from being a man. Enjoy it. Show it off to your friends. Take up guitar. I have almost no feeling in the finger tips of my left hand because of the calluses from playing guitar.
dude you have to constantly play guitar for at least 3 hours (and I mean consistently, no breaks) with .53-.13 gauge strings to even be "sore" from playing guitar.
It takes me more than that now. I can't remember the last time my fingers hurt from playing. Now I know it's time to take a break when my fingers get all raggedy and dead skin starts flaking off. When I first started though? On an acoustic with cheap, abrasive strings that I'm pressing too hard on with my girly, non-callused fingers? Didn't take long.
What's funny is to think that, 'Do Kali/Filipino Martial Arts', 'play guitar', 'play golf', 'play tennis' and other are more the real life than play a video game.
