Last Minute Hero is the first game I've worked on since going fully independent. I'm currently wrapping up the game to enter a short beta before final submission to apple, so hopefully will be in the app store by the end of September. The game looks great, graphics and gameplay wise, but the graphics do seem a bit off. Like the mean of Ravensword and Street Cred 3D.
In Last Minute Hero you are given 1 minute to live. There are spiders over-running the city. Every time you kill a spider you are given some extra time. The point of this game is stay alive as long as you can. There are different weapons in the game that you can unlock by getting a certain time.
Just a little update; after a successful beta, and some minor changes needed, the game is ready! Was submitted for review an hour ago, fingers crossed. Changes implemented from feedback from beta users: - Slightly bigger controls. - Updated graphics in some parts. - Faster player speed. - Improved, non-blocking tutorial after first seen. - Many more smaller bug fixes. Interesting, but I can never really get into 3D games on the iphone. Just seems too cramped. Looks cool though! Good job.
