It has a cool theme which isn't found too often, and even though it is old, don't understand the hate for it. Really cool music, and great cutscenes and movie like effects. Highly recommended!!! If you enjoyed the movie and are thinking either iPad or HDTV, I wouldn't hesitate to say yes, you should pick it up. There's nothing overwhelmingly awesome about it, but it is Avatar + GL, so it is definitely enjoyable. Let me know... Edit: OMG! You ninja'd me! I was kind of leary reading a lot of the itunes reviews, but maybe the expectations in this game were too much. The graphics while a little dated and not ipad retina, really play out well on hdmi tv, and the movie cutscenes are plentiful and cool. The music and theme are very cool, and while fanboys of FPS shooters might not like this style, I was pleasantly surprised! Highly recommended! Attached is hdmi tv screenshot. I'm one of the three people left that haven't seen the movie. I know the gist of the plot, just never took the time to see it partially because it was so overhyped. Anyway the game looks like you do some different stuff (running, riding a dragonfly thing, etc) and that could be a fun experience. Enjoy the game, it plays well on hdmi, doesn't take up too much space, has cool cut scenes, and overall is pretty fun. Graphics aren't as great as I would like being so used to ipad retina, but I am digging the game. mrbiggles Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2012 3,691 0 0 Like retired USA #12 mrbiggles, Feb 16, 2013 yeah the movie is pretty good, can be little confusing for some...but has a good moral concept. talks about movie release of Avatar 2 in 2014 xmas and Avatar 3 the following. The game is good, but really plays the way the movie shows, so it's a little slower and more mellow than some comparable titles... Movie was great, it looks just like a romantic tear jerker which it definitely is, but it has a great sense of nostalgia and suspense not found in many movies. Plus you may dig the art painting scene, Avatar didn't have artwork like that. I actually far liked Titanic way better than Avatar. Maybe Gameloft should make a Titantic game. Highly recommended! Like your coworker DBC, I will get out of bed soon, go take a shower and sing the theme song from Titanic. Hehe. Near, Far, Where ever you are, I believe that my heart will go on... Haha!
