    Pocket Titans
    Walking Dead: The Game
    Arc Squadron (Redux)
    House of the Dead
    Space Chicks - doubler

The only good freemium games in my book are:

    Quadropus Rampage

    and

    Dead Ahead

Awesome games worth everyones time. The first one is epic and the second one is fun and extremely generous. I gotten more than 20,000 coins in 1 run. No other game can match that (even paidmium or some so called "premium" game can match that).

Great list Echoen... would like to add Magic 2014, Phoenix HD, Lego Star Wars Saga, Spell Sword, Zen Pinball, Heroes & Castles (the freemium version) and Run N Gun to that list :)

Growtopia (everything in game obtainable without IAP)
Manyland (no IAP at all, or ads, so I guess it's not really freemium..but still)

    - Jetpack joyride
    - tiny tower
    - plants vs zombies 2
    - temple run
    - punch quest
    - candy crush (ashamed to admit it but yeah it was a great game if you ignore the freemium aspects)

Total spent - $0 - mainly because I despise freemium games and don't want to support the model, that said I wouldn't mind spending a few bucks on PvZ 2, it's great.

  7. Asphalt 8
    Phoenix hd
    Jetpack joyride

I want to suggest Battle Nations because it's the only freemium war game thing with actual gameplay -seriously how do these "games" without gameplay make money- (where is the gameplay in clash of clans,Modern War,War of Nations etc)
    Games without freemium elements
    Dead Ahead
Jet pack joyride - £7 (Don't judge me)
    Quadropus Rampage - doubler
    With dual currencies
Avengers Alliance £20 (Again, don't judge me)
Tapped Out (really only worth playing if you are a fan of the show)

Magic 2014 is great, but it's not freemium.

    Good freemium games would be:
    Plants vs Zombies 2
    Nimble Quest
    Jetpack Joyride
    Temple Run 2
    Robot unicorn Attack 2
    Subway Surfers
    Minion Rush
Angry Birds Go (from what little I've seen)
    Zynga Poker

And no I've never spent a penny on them.

Angry birds go has so many bad things about it I don't even know where to start.
    Timers
    Cars for £70
    Premium currency

As far as I'm aware, Towelfight 2, Legend Dary and Combo crew aren't freemium games, they're just games that have been available free for a time like many others have been. But great lists otherwise :)

Thanks Pete, double checked those games just now and it looks like they're still paid games. Edited.

EP, forgot to add Spell Sword because I loved it too much to think it was free now lol :D i tried Phoenix HD and yes, it's a worthy freemium game to own! I can see why the main thread for it is so bloated. :)

I'm glad you didn't take that the wrong way, sorry bout that! It's so confusing keeping track of all the games - I'm sure Towelfight 2 was meant to become freemium but it just doesn't seem to have yet.

Anyway. I've personally enjoyed Band Stars, Pocket Mine, colorpickle, Baby Lava Bounce, Blitz Brigade, Battlefield 4 Commander, Deep Dark Dungeons, Dead Ahead, Mega Dead Pixel, Endless Road, Giant Boulder of Death, Infectonator: Hot Chase, into the Dead, Super Mole Escape, Nimble Quest, Ninja Hero Cats, Ninjin, Paint it Back, Puzzle Realms, Papa Pear Saga, Punch Quest, Quadropus Revenge, Reaper, Rogue Miner, Running Dead, Sheep Happens, Spell Sword, WazHack, Whale Trail and Worm Run.

And that's just going by what's on my iPad at the moment. Im sure some of those are also paid apps I've assumed were free so I'll edit any out!

These. I bought a few dollars IAP in each of them.
Also Solomon's Keep/Boneyard. Spent a few dollars on each as well.
None of these games really seemed like purchases were necessary which is probably why I liked them.
Can't really think of any others that I've spent money in... Or played much of.
That's not counting games with a one time unlock IAP, I don't consider those freemium.

Worm run has been free for 1 week since releasing in February.
It was worth the extra $1 or $2 for the doubler in it.
Major Mayhem was a great game gone free. Coin doubler at $2 was a worthwhile purchase.

I've had a lot of fun with Pocket Mine, Jetpack Joyride, and Kairosoft's Dream House Days and Pocket League Soccer 2.

Our game Elevator Joe got lots of kudos for how we implemented our f2p. Unfortunately that has impacted our monetization. We're probably not gonna change it drastically though, so feel free to try it out and let me know what you think.

PS:Hey Nobunaga, I've been itching to play an update of your "Ambition" game. :p

    Playing iOS games, duh.
    Pennsylvania, U.S.
Besides Phoenix HD (which I still have a hard time labeling as a Freemium title) the best Freemium title I've played is Major Mayhem. Mega Run is also good. PunchQuest if you can get over the incessant grind. Samurai vs Zombie Defense 2 is an absolutely abysmal IAP crap fest, but I adore the game otherwise.

    Sigh... Freemium...

Now to start a list of all the games that would be amazing if they were built as Premium from the ground up. So, does anyone want to devote the next year to writing this list?

Robocop is out now in the AppStore. Yes it's GluGames, but it's certainly worth a try!
