It's still a decent game, but you will realize later on why the game fails as you play along. I just wont say it as it's free to play right now, but the game's main thread has lots of posts about the game's shortcomings. ninjackid Well-Known Member May 27, 2010 9,380 2 38 #6 ninjackid, Dec 13, 2012 Shame to hear this... I saw from the devs of ToF In the OP and got all excited... nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #7 nightc1, Dec 13, 2012 I'm happy to get it even if it's less than perfect. The reviews were mostly solid. The worst things said was about grinding and it taking time to figure out. I love the plain gameboy original style graphics. Evilkarma Well-Known Member Dec 20, 2011 199 0 0 Canada #9 Evilkarma, Dec 14, 2012 I bought this the hour it was released. Played the hell out of it. But yes, it has its shortcomings. I did prefer ToF no doubt, but this game is interesting. It's not so much a game that would suck you in for hours on end, but rather in short bursts. I was the guy who discovered a flaw in the game where there was a combo that basically made you unstoppable. The devs asked me not to share it and went on to update the game soon after. Along with that, they had a survival mode where you face off against an endless wave of enemies which would have been fine if there was an actual point to doing so (no reward). But the devs took the suggestion and implemented a reward system in the last update too. They do listen for suggestions and feedback closely so that alone is a reason to pick this up when it's free. nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #10 nightc1, Dec 14, 2012 Well and it's free and takes only a tiny amount of space to install... that already passes two of my criteria. Despite iAP, there's a lot of love for the game in the reviews (and the reviews don't look faked). So that pretty much pushes it over the edge since I love the art style and other stuff. The dev being good about updating and listening to user feedback is icing on the cake.
