I read an article / blog a few weeks backs outlining about 5 iOS games from 2011 that didn't get much attention. One game had an odd name and was difficult to spell. Had to check several times when searching it on the app store. Gameplay looked similar to Terra Noctis. I believe the cost was $2.99 USD I would recognize it if I saw it. Anyone want to take a stab and help me find this game?
Link to article? That's kind of not enough info...lol Is it a platformer? Well the 2 games that I think look most like terra noctis is frogatto and spellsword. Other than that I'm not sure..
Thanks for guessing but it is not those. I had to check the spelling twice when I searched for it in the app store. I spent the morning trying to find the article with no luck. The title was one word, and not a typical English word (or at least I had never heard it if it were and I do have a high level education). Had about 6-8 letters in the name. I believe it had a 4 star rating on the app store. It was a 2D side scroller. I know this info is very vague, and I can usually find anything on the web. But this one has me stumped.
Ok I'm just onna start listing games... Lumi Myster of a Japanese werewolf Incoboto Mos speedrun Kale in Dinoland Soozis Comander pixman Updraft jack Lars Ok, so it's one word, 2d sides roller, 4 stat rating, 2011 , weird name 6-8 letters.. Soozis? Of not I'll keep checking.. Illusia? Meganoid? Starsdust? Beyond Ynth Is it a platformer? Universal? Is it still 2.99$ Grokion? Aquaria? Inertia? Lostwinds Clash force Kungfu rabbit Pixn luv rush 1bit ninja Rocket riot Dawindci Paper monsters Spycorp Sarge Hooga Canabalt Dizzy bee Bed bugs Leapworm Scz beyond dead Spy bot Hook champ Super quickhook Hook worlds Clays reverie Grinder Jazz trumps journey Storm in a teacup Moogies Samurai girls Precept!!! (that's gotta be it) Oh well hope i got it if not I'll sear some more I guess M
Nihilumbra looks like it may be it, but I swear I thought it was an article or blog post for games released in 2011. I'll keep searching to make sure and post back here. I appreciate the responses. Darth- you listed a few I've never heard of so I can check those out. I appreciate the effort.
And, I read the article about two weeks ago late one night. I've tried to find some breadcrumbs on my iPad, but nothing. At that time, it was 2.99. Thanks again for the responses.
Read that article too. I can barely remember any games from that article ( guess they are going to stay overlooked ), but vague memories of Karoshi remain. Maybe thats the game. Its more of a 2D platforming puzzler. Another guess would be Kami Retro. Check them out, it might be one of them.
