I agree it does seem strange. Blacksmith Games, who previously organized Appvent, tweeted in late November about it almost being time for Appvent but there has been nothing since. Regardless of there being no formal appvent yet there has been a number of quality freebies so fingers crossed various developers just drop prices in the spirit of the season anyway.
