I loved Room 1, bought Room 2 and haven't played it yet. Now must get Room 3... Ready for that rainy day
Anyone know why this sale is $2 USD but £2 in UK and not £1.49?. The devs are British but we get a worse deal yet again. The game is good, no question, but why do we still get screwed for stuff that happened before we were even born. If I didn't see the price advertised in dollars I probably wouldn't care but I have and so I do, on principle.
$3:99 on sale in Australia... I think Apple invent their own pricing for each country. Long gone are the days when a $20 iTunes card could get you 10-20 odd games... now I barely get 2-3 for that price here in AU. Edit: Which I must admit is STILL cheap.
I live in Brazil. A 99c game costs me more than $4. And our beer is so bad that people drink Budweiser when they feel like having something special. Don't tell me about getting screwed.
So room 3, badlands 2, super phantom cat all on sale....this has got to be some App Store special promotion that will officially go live Thursday or Friday. Bet there are still more discounts to come.
Also Lumino City and You Must Build a Boat. A few puzzle games there, but not sure how Badlands and Super Phantom Cat fit in that category.
Maybe it's for Intl Women's Day? I thought it was just 1 day though, but they could go on sale for a week if they want, of course.
Apple offer these wonky pricing tiers, but it's still the developers who choose to use it. Most $2 apps are still £1.50. And they're the only $2 apps I'll consider.
I used to be frustrated by this. Not any more. £2 for this is still fantastic value. Americans might occasionally save a few cents on an app, but we get universal healthcare and five weeks' paid holiday a year, so it's swings and roundabouts really!
The Room Three is back on sale for $1.99! https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-room-three/id918054748 Similarly, The Room Two is on sale for 99¢.
