I'm interested in top game titles you've bought following the hype, then erased not long after from realising how rubbish they are to you. This isn't a slur on the game or the developer, but more a point in issue over opinions. goes to show what turns different people on. mine are (and most of these are only recent deletions too): Pocket God harbour master rolando gi joyride sway zenbound ferrari gt
only game ive deleted (out of about 50 installed) was Dropship. (it used to cost money) Controls = craaaaaap that re-centerable dpad needs an "off" option
circuit strike one Car Jack Streets Chronicles of Inotia Fieldrunners Dropship Kroll iDigIt iDracula Underworlds Iron Sight Nano Fighter Moto Chaser Sentinel: Mars Defense Siberian Strike Topple Zombieville USA 7 Cities Warpack Grunts I'm considering deleting Asphalt4 also, but since I paid $10 when it first came out... It's kinda hard. Game does suck ass really bad!!!
Some games because of hype... -Peggle -Hero of Sparta -Terminator Salvation -Bloons -Bookworm -Heavy Mach -iShoot -Leaf Trombone (..just added a few more)
I just deleted Doom and a couple others (cleared out for memory)... I didnt necessarily get doom because of the hype though, just the $3 sale.
I have deleted a ton of lite games, but anything I've payed for I still have. I am about to delete a few utility apps I don't use anymore ie. iFitness, and DrinkTracker
Off the top of my head: Zenonia Zen Bound Tiger Woods Pocket God (i do redownload after each update, but I'll only play it for 5 min before deleting again) Knights Onrush Harbor Master Car Jack Streets + countless others
Off the top of my head, the only three that I've deleted out of "anger" based on quality were: Asphalt 4 (or, IMHO, Ass Fault 4) after the update to the controls crippled the game. Accelerometer controls are my preferred control method for racers, and Gameloft completely crippled this game's motion sensing controls. After a week of trying to get used to touch controls and not enjoying the game as I did before, I just deleted it. Good thing I beat it before the update though. Kroll which, after about two weeks of trying, in vain, to finally beat it on insane difficulty to unlock the extra black suit costume, I just gave up on it and deleted it off my device. It's not that insane is all that hard...it's just...the game just isn't that fun. And it downright cheats at times. Sometimes only one giant golem will appear around a corner in a stage, and other times when replaying that same stage there'll be like 5 or 6 lined up one right after the other on that same corner. WTF? The game is just a grind, and not in a fun way. Motochaser or whatever that Freeverse motorcycle racer was called. Another not so fun game. Got tired of the wonky camera system and looking at the biker's ass instead of the road ahead.
Tons...to free up icon space for more purchases: Earth vs Moon Galcon iDracula Toki Tori Toy Bot series (except Spy Bot) Wolf 3D iBomber Kryzer Dinosmash Dropship Saucelifter iYamato These dont necessarily mean to be bad games. I had great fun with most of them but due to lack of replayability, I had to make room for the new ones as I bought along.
I've never really deleted games because I hated them. I liked all the games I bought so far, and the ones I deleted have only been deleted simply because I got a new game in the same genre that was better and needed space, like when I got FAST and deleted Rebel Onslaught. Or when I got Gangstar and deleted Payback. Payback was really good, and I might get it again.
Force Unleashed - was expecting more...got deleted after i finished it. Ugh* Trapped: Undead Infection - was expecting more, got less...deleted. Booyah - stupid app really. Shadowland - Prologue. Dont waste your time..just an average sniper game. 3DiPlane - looked cool, handles crap. Not fun. oh and Uggles....ugh* that was a mistake. I got it for free tho so no harm no foul.
I'm beginning to wonder if "Active Dev" = "Unfinished Game". Food for thought. I delete, or don't play, a lot of games because I just decide I'm not interested in them as much as I thought I'd be. Most of the games I buy are of good quality, but I just don't play them. They "sound cool"...hype I suppose, but I just don't play them. I find myself playing Zynga Poker and Word Solitaire. I guess I'm turning into a casual gamer as far as my game preferences. Recent deletions: Payback Games I SHOULD delete because I never play: About 40 of them.
