I ended up purchasing this app last night. I really enjoy it very fun & challenging at the same time. For .99 I recommend this to anyone who enjoys games involving the Puzzle/Strategy Genre. Cheers to the Dev great game.
I've had time to play. I found it difficult to understand at first, the instructions could do with being a bit clearer but once I figured it out I really like it, I notice that you unlock levels with points you've earned from completed puzzles, wich I was dubious of at first but you can replay older levels, get more points and advance. My only complaint is the time limit, this is a kind of puzzle that needs a lot of thinking and I like to explore all possible pathways but because you only have so long you can't, you've got to rush. I would really really love an up timed mode as I can't see myself getting very far before giving on the game as it feels too pressured. It would also be good if you could give some clue as to when time is low as I found that I never looked at the countdown as I was to busy looking at the pipe sections to place, and all of a sudden, game over. The level select menu could do with widening a little, my husband has large hands and he would struggle to select a level without catching a different one. With an option to play without time restrictions I'd happily keep this on my device and complete them all.
There is training mode without timer iirc, you wont get any points though. Also that could make game too easy if you could just memorise it. I think timer is too tight though
There are the game rules. 1. Swap red or blue Connectors to link Power Sources and Power Receivers with each other (via chains). 2. Black Connector becomes red when it is linked to any Power Source. 3. Black Connector becomes blue when it has red neighbours: one, two or three - determined by Chaos conditions. 4. Static Connector can never move or become blue. 5. The goal and conditions of each Chaos are described in the "Briefing" panel. 6. Remember: each swap costs 5 seconds! And some comments. Player must swap movable chips (Connectors) to join pins of neighbour chips to each other. The goal is to create chain that connects Power Source with Power Receiver. Only blue and red (but not black!) Connectors are movable. Connector becomes red when it is linked to any Power Source via chain of pins and receive power. Connector becomes blue when it is not linked to Power Source but it has red neighbours (only one red neighbour for simple levels) Movable chips combination is changed after each of your moves because the red/blue/black states of each Connector are recalculated.
I had trouble too. You need to connect the sections from one end to the other, bit like pipeflow, you start with only one connected, which will be red, you can only swap them with pieces that are touching the red pieces and when the new piece connects it will turn red and more pieces around that become available for swapping. I've probably made you more confused lol, it took me over ten minutes to figure out what needed to be done.
Thank you very much for your thoughts about gameplay. Tomorrow we'll publish detailed vision of nearest future improvements.
