Since I was selling only around 3-5 copies for Card Drop each day, I decided to give it away for FREE for 48 hours and experiment how it would fare. I had it included on FreeAppCalendar and didn't know that it was going to be their flagship game. I was surprised when I received over 5,400+ per day and my game quickly went up from nothing to #5 on FREE Card Games US! While I didn't generate any revenues from this, I just thought I'd share my experience with everyone and the lessons I learned from this: http://bit.ly/dn18M8

I saw another thread about going FREE w/out publicity--I just thought I'd post the other side of it (with publicity).

Lesson of the story: If you're at the bottom, there's no way but up! Don't lose hope--be positive at all times!

    Yeah. :)

My sales for Card Drop increased to around 60% since I converted it back to a paid app. Not bad, right?
