Anyone else worried by the number of high profile apps and games (e.g. Cut the Rope, Kindle) that are requiring updates before iOS7 is released so that you don't lose data? I'm not so worried about these apps, but if App Store stalwarts like Zeptolabs and Amazon have a problem, it seems unlikely they're the only ones. I'm worried that similar issues could cause me to lose data, progress or purchases in lower profile apps from smaller developers. Does anyone have any idea: 1) What the reason for this is? Is it to do with the removal of UDIDs? 2) How likely other apps/games are to be affected? 3) Is there a sensible way to back up before upgrading to iOS7 and prevent problems? I know I can back up to iFunbox or something similar, but as far as I know, I'll still only be able to restore the same version of the app. If that version doesn't work with iOS7, I'm stuffed anyway, right?
