I'd like to propose a new game boards organization:

I have to agree with you. Boards:

    • Released and Upcoming Games
      [*] Game Talk

The first will aggregate two of the most important type of topics here in TA. An upcoming game news became a released one soon and then another topic in another board is created. That's strange and it seems to break the dynamic I was use to see here.

On the other hand, a Game Talk board for everything else would make topics more flexible and things like price discussion, this or that, missing port, game like that would have a perfect Lounge home.

    Please vote!

    please please split them !

i could not agree more with this !

i do not want to have to check 2 boards for game information, and one of them is permantly clogged with tons of crap ie imafia codes and best game for 99 cents / long trip / funeral etc

I am quite happy for people to discuss these things but wish i did not have to read it if i dont want too

can i please vote 5 more times :)

Most of the times codes are attached to a game release (new or updated) so you could easily keep track of them in a board with less topics.

In addition, a promo code board would force more than one topic about the same subject.

    You need to stalk me?
I agree with this but I think we should just move OUT NOW threads to a separate Game Talk subforum instead of creating a new one.

There's no reason why you need to duplicate it.

The Released and Upcoming games thread can turn into Game Talk though...

I like how it is now. I can see the Upcoming Games in one section, and then discuss the game once it is released in the other section.

I would rather see a User Review section. It probably wouldn't get much traffic or activity, but it's worth a shot

I like the split as it is now. You have games that are out and you can talk about them there and then there is the upcoming game section that you can learn about new stuff and talk about it there. Simple and easy.

edit: one thing that would be nice is if you stay logged in on the home page as well as the forums.

i def. agree with this. then the topics that are about specific games will be singled out from the newbie questions, polls, or promo giveaways.

I am all for not having to see 30 imob/imafia type game threads its utter garbage cluttering the boards on real topics talking about games. I think those games should have their own section.

totally agree Scott - those games are a completely separate entity - and most of the posts consist of a number followed by the words "Add Me"

    those threads only serve to make me question what I'm doing here - if they were moved to a specific area like;

    Social networking games' or
    'Mobster/Gang games' or
    Respect point nonsense games'

that would keep the stuff out of sight - and that would help keep the main threads interesting

I agree on this. It's getting out of hand with these threads, and they only clutter the rest of the section. It really needs a separate section out of the way of the main stuff.
