Unzip problems..

Howdy,

Have a quick question. Am I missing something here. I zip the game that I want. I transfer it via the Itunes fileshareing. I move it to the directory Via the DN browser(in IDOS).

When I go to pure dos mode to unzip it. I type "unzip agent.zip" and it keeps saying that there is no agent.zip(file not found), yet it is there when I do a DIR(and I can move the file around and copy things and such). so what is the secret. cuz the unzip command was working. As that was how I got DN into IDOS and working in the first place. Also installed Win 3.11 without a hitch, But now, it won't unzip anything. Keeps saying the file(as in the game file. not the unzip command file) is not there. But it IS there. What am I missing? is there a certain way to zip this stuff up? I guess I don't understand as it was working earlier.....hmmm

i had this problem
try renaming your files in windows to all caps before you transfer accross to your ipad. including the extension.

then unzip with "unzip \PQ1.ZIP"

 

Can someone please confirm that you have sync'd your iphone with itunes and that the idos ipa was copied to your machine and not removed from your machine or the iphone. I just want to be absolutely sure, as I really don't want to lose idos

 

Ive synced hundreds of times over the last week (mainly to add zip filed to idos so, rest assured that itunes will definately not pinch your copy of idos - happy retro-gaming!

 

Its likely that the file name you zipped is not all in lower case, like AGENT.zip.
iDOS shows you everything as upper case, but if you look in iTunes you'll see that files really are in upper and lower case. DOS is case insensitive, iDOS is not. It'll drive you crazy, if you let it.

Awesome!! Just one more question - did you purchase idos on your iphone or through itunes on your machine? Mine was through my iphone.. I don't think it makes a difference, but just want to be 100% sure. Thanks!!!

Only tried UW2 but no IMO.

U7 is slightly more playable but still too choppy

Speaking of ultima underworld 2 I think it has one of the best box arts of any game:

 

Has anyone had any success with Ultrabots? I got it installed and with no sound selected it freezes at the EA screen, and with sound it CHUGS for about a few minutes then the sound and screen go nuts, all scrambled with all sorts of wacky colors and becomes unresponsive. I have not messed with my config at all.

 

Works ok for me, but I have to read the manual to know what to do.
