Game Impressions (impressions after <30 minutes of play) First, thank you for the code. Second, as much as I love pipe games, I'm not that good at them. That said, this is a pretty fun game, and I really like the look, however I have no idea how to get higher than a 1-star rating on a level. Even the first level. I'm guessing you have to place a lot more pipe than just the straightest path, however the countdown to the release of the water is pretty fast. I made a path that earned 1280 points, used a fair amount of the field (11 pieces worth), manually released the water and still only got one star. The instructions before the first level are given visually rather than in words, and none of it explains how to earn stars. I'm not very far into the game yet (still on the first world), so I don't know what kind of impact star collection is going to have, but if it's very necessary then I'm in trouble. If you like pipe games, you could do worse than this one. What I would like to see in an update: retina graphics and a universal version. It's a bit blurry on my phone. Perhaps a bit more vibrancy to the colors. The first world looks pretty muted. The option to remove (or slow down) the countdown timer to the release of the water, give a newbie time to think; perhaps through difficulty settings.
Collin, thank you for taking your time to have a look at the game and thanx a lot for your suggestions! Retina update and Universal Binary are already set up and should be coming next month. As far as the other suggestions (explanations on how to get more level-stars, difficulty levels, colors) are concerned, we will definitely look into them! Thanx!
I've played that game already and had a blast. But besides that the old gameplay principle just transfers nicely to the iphone touch controls, I also thought that the visuals look like it was made with a lot of care. Great game, highly recommended!
Promo codes for the current version are now all used up (current requests have been/or will be served with a PM). We'll probably be posting new codes with the next update. Thanx for your interest and your feedback! Cris & Martin
