Saw a rush hour game called Blokt with some suspiciously gushing reviews. Could be real, since looks like it adds some polish to the rush hour game (has a leaderboard). However, there are just too many reviews gushing way too much...makes me suspicious. How does one check on the reviewers?
-If the reviewer only has (5star)reviews for that one developer -If the reviewer has reviewed only paid games by one developer and the rest of the reviews they wrote for other apps are all free apps -If it sounds like bs it usually is. If 10 one sentence reviews were written on the same day. -Sometimes you can tell just by the usernames.
Devs suck at shilling. If they wrote "good but it needs mor lvls" "its fun but the controlssuck" "addicting!" "short but good" I would take a second glance thinking it were shill reviews
It's only got one review on the UK store, and the reviewer has only reviewed that game... he said it's the best game on iPhone, perfect for playing 30 seconds or 30 minutes. 5 stars. Make of that what you will.
Yeah...I like rush hour, but who calls a rush hour game the "best game on the iphone" . . . the USA reviews have that same fake feel...will check when I get home.
