    Hey everyone,

Quick question. What's the difference with using the

'download on the App Store' and 'available on the App Store' badge?

Are both possible to be used for promotional creatives?

In the App Store guideline, the 'download' must be used if you have a iTunes link that connects you to your app, and the 'available' must be used for all other promotional creatives that don't have a link.

    Is this true?

To Sell your applications in the iOS and Mac App Stores along by promoting their titles via a personal website, or blog, Apple offers two new badges — “Available on the App Store” for offline use and “Download on the App Store” for online use .

    Hey,

Just to add on to Stephen, 'Available for the app store' is also for some promotion platforms which do not allow 'aggressive' styles of promotion. For example, your facebook page can't have the 'Download on the app store' badge (not sure whether they recently changed the rules but it certainly happened for one of our apps).
