Any ideas on relatively easy puzzle/exploration games? My 4 year old loves everything I play, but she's still a bit challanged by complex puzzle mechanics.

for example she plays the first island of OceanHorn over and over, and she loves the digging part of mines of mars.

I think I may try Monument Valley...anything other ideas? especially older stuff that wouldn't be on my radar..

Wargames WOPR is a simple puzzle game with sweet mechanics.
On The Line is real simple but fun.
Mikey Shorts is a neat little platformer.
Save the Dino is a fott building tetris esque game.
    Figuros is fun little tapper.
Santa Rockstar is music game thats pretty cool.

  5. Try catch the candy, there is a free version too I think. Both me and my niece love it.

    Now more serious.
For more appropriate apps, check the stuff from the TOCA BOCA developers. Search the name on the Appstore. It's high quality stuff mostly.
LEGO also has lots of apps for 2-6 years old kids, most are even free without IAP or other shit.

Appropriate for that age would be also games like:

    - Toy Story: Smash It (great puzzler for kids)
    - Grandfather's Workshop
    - Grandmother's Garden (both apps have puzzles as well as creative stuff)

These are the games my 4-years-old loves.

PS: solving the Scribblenauts levels with you kid is also very fun and entertaining!
I am often surprised how my son tries to solve a problem / puzzle in a completely different way than me.

Punch Quest, Rat on A Jetski, and Fishbowl Roller are some of my 5 year olds favorites.

The Little Crane That Could. My friend's nephew loves it. It's also free so trying can't hurt :)

Punch Quest? Dang, your 5 year old must be hardcore.

I recommend Ski Safari over everything, it's a beautiful casual endless "skier"

My niece is awesome at Hay Day and persuaded me to try it (and I liked it too till the FTP mechanic got too tiresome for me). When she started school (she's 5 now) they were all like 'if I have one apple and two apples how many apples do I have' and she was 'ok so I have six trees so I can produce 18 apples an hour and make 2 jars of jam in three hours but that means I don't have time to make six jars of jam before my ship goes...'

  12. My niece loved Bobo explores Light, it is awesome!
