What happened to NFSU

It's already come out. Didn't you see the thread a couple weeks back? Search, my friend, search.

 

I don't even know if it's coming out anymore. They keep delaying it and there's no more news of that game. Even if it does come out, it doesn't interest me anymore. EA just created too much hype then killed it by keep delaying it for like 6 months.

 

Three words: Super Smash Brawl

 

I don't know if this is old news but EA posted on Twitter that the release date is being pushed back to September 09. In some ways, I think this is completely stupid, but in other ways, I think this will be better. They're working really really hard on it.

Taking I account the sheer amount of time EA seems to be putting into this one, if it doesn't have even a small(ish) free-roaming city then I will be p***ed!

Why do people get all cut that it isn't out yet?

There has NEVER been a release date about Need For Speed on the iPhone, it was just announced that it was coming.

Personally I believe that the next game by EA to come out will be Tiger Woods PGA, but that it good as absolutely everything will be perfect by the time NFS is out

 

I have no clue why it would take EA so long. They've showed off the game so many times during game conferences, etc. and it doesn't look like it needs more work. Gameloft has released like 5 nicely polished games in the time span that it takes EA to make some racing game that's suppose to be "the best on iPhone". And they have set a release date like 50 times.

 

All the "set" release dates were just rumors.

 

Still, they have shown it off numerous times and it seemed very nice. I dunno, I'm just kinda upset/frustrated/angry that EA takes so much time to make a game that I feel will disappoint many.

 

They could have shown parts that were completed, but that doesn't mean that everything else was done. There might be multiple cities to do, more cars, more effects, better physics, etc. Or they are actually just stalling for the new iPod, which I'd be pissed at considering my iPod is new and it might not even run NFS (Even though I'll probably buy Real Racing before it even comes out).

 

I clearly remember seeing March 09 on EA's twitter, now it say September 09... **** this game, we'll be lucky if we even have it in Sep.
