I sent it a month or so ago and got a thank you email reply I believe. But if no one else is experiencing it, then maybe an update just downloaded poorly. I'll resend my crash log just in case you guys can't find my original.

No, OP is right to ask. I loved this the first time around, but the controls made me give it up before finishing. The new update makes me very curious. But I would need to delete something big - Hearthstone or Vainglory - to try the update myself. It would be nice to hear from someone who has played the update how it is.
Well I would say its fairly similar before the update. The controls dont make me say omg this is so much better now but they might be slightly better. I think the graphics are a bit nicer than I remember too and they also reworked talent trees and a world map.
Played the new version a bit, and i feel it's a lot better than the first. No more floaty-ish jumps. They feel natural now, and i am liking the new skill tree progression. Im definitely spending time revisiting this as soon as i get to finish FF7 with a maxed out Counterattack build

Chill with the purchase shaming. I'm in med school, so I have little money but even less time. I'm mainly concerned about this being a waste of time, since the last iteration wasn't that great. Also EP I bought it, good luck with the FF7 build! I don't think I'll be getting that one until winter break.
The game play is better especially the jumping. But I can't believe that I lost all my characters and have to earn medals or buy medals to unlock them. It's possible to play the game and get enough medals to play with all the characters but it'll take many play throughs to unlock the whole cast. And if I'm not mistaken... there were more playable characters that aren't there now and there's no longer the chance to play with Magneto. I'm a little disappointed. But good luck devs regardless.
