Not sure if there is a thread for this but i just did some searching on gameloft live and NOVA 3 HD is under a beta testers games.
Im not sure if it is l, but seeing how some of gameloft's money makers(real football 2012 and dungeon hunter 3) will be free im pretty sure NOVA 3 will be free too, and probably modern combat 4 or the next brothers in arms(if its even planned).
i think it will. Gangstar Rio was pretty close to and MC3 could easily have been freemium too. Six Guns is doing pretty good on the App Store also, so I say yes as much I wish it would just be premium.
Gameloft thinks this is good because of the cheap people who think $7 is expensive. So now they are making them freemium, so the cheap people won't whine.
Get this piece of Gameloft's voice acting out of this forum until the game has actually been confirmed, and since when are ios games 'hd".
This guy is probably lying anyways. We already know its Unreal Engine and going not going to be free. This thread should be closed until Gameloft officially gives us some information.
We know this how? . There's been no announcement Gameloft is using the Unreal Engine as of yet (they're last announcement canceled MoH and said 'sometime in 2012'). And yes, the information that it's coming is likely semi-reliable (i've heard it from a few sources seeing it on beta testers 'games' list). However, I think there's no way that this is full on accurate. Hell no. All Gameloft's games from now on are universal, or so they've said. So why the heck do they have 'hd' in the title??? Only explanation would be the test ipads and iphones separate.
They said Unreal around the time of MOH.....and MOH got canned because they have too many FPS games... So yeah, Gameloft is making Unreal Games for 2012, and NOVA is one of those games..
I have no reason to lie, i just stumbled upon this find today. Why gameloft listed it as HD i have no clue, i own an ipod touch 4g. My only guess is that there seperately testing on ipads until they announce it, especially since alot of gameplay footage from games are now shown using an IPad, I honestly dont like the NOVA series, I just figure that a few folks on the forum might be interested.
I absolutely love the NOVA series but if NOVA3 is freemium I might not play it... I doubt it would be but because what woul you have to buy in a FPS? Ammo and new guns I guess, but even MC3 has that...
