The Shadow Sun or Ravensword?

Both are good, I personaly like the Shadow Sun better.

 

He is looking for a Skyrim experience though so I would recommend Aralon or Ravensword.

 

RS2 is a lot more solipsistic with a pretty dead central town and a lot of wide open spaces. Honestly, while it's got a thick WRPG veneer, it's kind of like a Zelda game at its core. It's good, but if you want more meaningful interaction with NPCs, broader character customization options and a more engaging story, I'd go with TSS.

 

Both are good but if you want a more meaningful story, I'd say The Shadow Sun.

 

Ditto for The Shadow Sun, but ultimately both it and Ravensword 2 are worth owning!
