    Guess what? Classified.

Triggerfist is good, but the player base is pretty much nonexistent. You'll have to use Gamecenter friends.
    How about starwarfare?

I'd say Neon Shadow is a great option, but again, it's player base is almost non-existent.

    Anyway,here is a good list:

    Modern combat series by Gameloft.
    Nova 3 by Gameloft.
    Blitz Brigade by Gameloft.
    Pixel gun 3d.
That new Battle Bears fps game.

    All of them.

  8. Blitz Brigade - something like PC Battlefield series with Team Fortress graphics and physics.

My bad, but still a better multiplayer shooter than 80% listed here.

it's pretty new and indie so it's still yet to build a big playerbase, but Natural Born Soldier really scratches the right itch for me.

Thank you all for the help I've been plying the Pixel Gun 3D game the most. I've been curious to try that bullet force game also.

Out of the games mentioned, I'd say that Modern Combat 5 is the most reliably entertaining, generic military FPS for iOS, and perhaps one of the multiplayer shooters with the largest playerbase. As a CoD rip-o... erm, homage, it offers more complexity than just run-and-gun games, with more reliance on cover, ducking, grenades, kill streak abilities, a wider variety of weapon types and weapon stats, classes with a host of abilities, armor with in-game effects, etc. For these reasons, MC5 might be one of the best starting points for in-depth multiplayer shooting on iOS.

(And it should be said that while it is nowhere near a first-person shooter, not even a third-person shooter but rather a third-persons shooter ;) , World of Tank Blitz, in all its relatively slow, ponderous gameplay, is just generally one of the best and most fun action multiplayer games for iOS, and one of the most polished multiplayer titles around.)

Personally, after a few weeks in a very cool closed beta (pays to have friends in nerdy places), I'd love to see something closer to Overwatch for iOS, i.e. a highly characteristic action shooter with a greater emphasis on unique characters with tactical abilities and great variety in mobility, MOBA influences, short, tactical matches, etc.

I can agree about modern combat, I think I'm in the level 60s or 70s, but besides the obvious cheaters, I've had some amazing experiences and done some pretty cool maneuvers in order to win.
