Cool! I know I played this expansion in a computerized version of the game MANY years ago but I've already forgotten...what is the significance of those two new specialized meeple again (the pig and ornate cross thingy)?

The pig can be placed on a field that you already have a worker on, and if you win the field (or tie) the value of each completed city on the field is worth 1 more (so 4 points per completed city on the field instead 3). Once placed the pig stays there until the end of the game. The builder can be placed on a city or road. Each time you add to the city or road you get to draw an extra tile and place it as well. If the city or road is completed you get your builder back. If I recall right, you don't have to have a worker on the city or road, to place a builder there. In fact I think somebody else can be on it. Don't quote me on that, though. I'll have to look it up. Everybody has 1 pig and 1 builder. Then there are the commodities you see on the tiles. You collect all the commodities in a city once you complete the city. It doesn't matter who owns the city, all that matters is who completes it. The person who owns the city gets the points, but the person who completes the city gets the commodities (of course they could be the same person). At the end of the game if you have the most of a given commodity (or if you are tied), you get points for it. I'm forgetting offhand how many points. There are differing numbers of each commodity.

Game Impressions Grabbed the expansion and just fired up a game vs. the AI bots with this and all previous expansions going. Still the best iOS board game out there! Hey, didn't there used to be a little celebrity guest star bot (star of The Incident) in the game? When was he cut?
Bought the expansion. It's a great expansion to the game and I know they'll have done it right. $2 well spent!
Wonderful. Grabbed the expansion and will play soon. Despite being really bad at carcassonne, I love it! Anyone accepting playing with a forever noob, I am available. Even if fluxx is stealing biggest part of my ios time lately!
