With one game out with crystal (guerrilla bob) and more to come (ravensword, mission deeps sea, cogs, and zombie dash) what do you think of it? I think it's really great, love how you have the interface redesigned to the game to make yo still feel you are in the game other than OF where it feels like you are out of the game.
well i like OF better. i mean Crystal is great and all, but im tired of finding all my friends again. PLus, in Openfeint it feels like your out of game. on a 360 or ps3 or Wii, does the game make the social platform? No. I really dont care, i want to play a game, see some leaderboards, talk with friends and eventually play with them online....and OF brings that
Well other than talking with your friends, crystal has all that so really if crystal has all that stuff, why is OF better? Also you can't play online on OF or crystal.
OpenFeint. I have Guerrilla Bob. Sadly, I will not play it as much as I would like because OpenFeint games consume most of my time. So any game that really wants to keep people coming back and playing the games they have already bought and more, go with OpenFeint hands down! They are already to large. And they have everything you need and more! It is getting so old having all of these different platforms pop up. I wish apple would just buy one and make it universal or create there own. Who really wants 3-6 different platforms? Its to hard to dominate on so many different networks.

Yea, i agree on what you are saying about different platforms. Also this isn't about openfeint vs crystal, this is about what you like and dislike about crystal.
It's still to early to make up my mind on Crystal, I have to wait to see more games on the serivce and how they all tie together. That said it looks like there are a ton of games getting Crystal according to the chillingo website. Games out with Crystal: Guerrilla Bob Games already out getting patched with Crystal: Angry Birds Aztec Quest Ice Age Inkvaders (doesn't this already have agon or something?) Mission Deep Sea Ravensword Speed Forge Extreme Zombie Dash (already submitted should be the next game with Crystal) Upcoming game presumingly launching with Crystal: Cogs The Hero Pro Zombie Soccer Radio Flare Redux That's a good number of seemingly high quality games, the real question is how long will it take for all these patches and future game to come out.

when i first heard of crystal going into bob.. i thought great another service to sign up too. but now i really like it.. but like others have said. maybe i should not be so quick to like it and see how it develops. i know what to expect in OF.. etc. but my first impressions of crystal are very positive. chris.
until there becomes solely one platform for multiplayer on the iPhone (i.e. xbox live) all of these other ones aren't very important to me. I won't buy a game solely because it has OF or crystal, and a game having it doesn't really make me like it more. in fact, in some games (rope n fly 2, hook champ) the addition of OF almost hindered my enjoyment because all of the achievements were constantly getting in the way of me playing.
