I hope you guys eventually update the iphone version with newer tracks and cars, i still think this is one of the best racers!
iPhone Version: This is the scaled down version of Real Racing HD from AppAdvice This is the upscaled image from me (not official, I just changed it to iPad resolution. Won't look as good as normal):
I don't want to favour one type of game here and never would but gameloft already covered that aspect, Real Racing to me is a blend of sim and arcade more towards games like GRiD and I love it as it is. A shame I can't afford an iPad for this version.
I'm not hugely fussed about gameplay but I want to be able to race real cars on real tracks in real tournaments. And guys, please please please can we have an acid jazz soundtrack?
Will we see screenshots before release date?? I'm really looking forward to this. I wish it was a universal app.
Good question, is this version going to have the original superior music or the naff new music that real racing received in an update? :/ yes I am still sour about that.
iphone (top) vs ipad ?(bottom) Is the dashboard speedometer on the ipad version now functional? No other indicator of speed is apparent.
Damn! I'm loving the graphics! I was thinking of getting the iPad. But now, I'm definitely getting it just for this. I will happily spend $9.99 for this. It'll be so fun just to steer the game on the iPad, and the graphics are marvelous! Great job Firemint! Keep it up
