I was wondering what tower defense games everyone is playing and what you guys recommend- especially for the iPad. I've been playing a lot of The Creeps! and Fieldrunners, but I haven't wanted to try them on the iPad because it seems they are just scaled up versions with nothing new. Is that not the case? Anyway, looking for some different opinions.
Not sure if there are iPad versions or not but GeoDefense and GeoDefense Swarm are really good and much more challenging than FieldRunners. Don't know how hard The Creeps! is, have it but have never played it. Sentinel 1 & 2 are also a lot of fun and Plants vs. Zombies as well. Defender Chronicles and Elemental Monster TD are also good but I don't really play either of them anymore.
I use an iPod touch so don't know about the iPad. TD games I like are: Sentinel Sentinel 2 Pew Pew Land Ninja TD Geo Defense Crystal Defenders Defender Chronicles Geo Defense Swarm Plants vs Zombies Tweet Defense 4 Towers Elemental Monster TD TriDefense Star Defense All great IMO.

Tower Madness, Zombie Attack, BioDefense, Fieldrunners and The Creeps all have iPad versions. All are great (at least on iPhone... I dont have an iPad yet). Im amazed how many great TDs (like Defender Chronicles, GeoSwarm, Sweetwater Defense, 7 Cities, Bloons TD, Elemental Monsters, Dungeon Defense) dont seem to have iPad versions! The iPad is the ultimate TD platform.

Not much of a fan of Tower defence games, but two that kept my interest were: Plants vs Zombies- very well done game, that has seeked to make tower defence sort of accessible to everybody with the criticism that probably goes along with that that its easy which is true, but regardless very fun game. GunsNGlory- Featured by TouchArcade I downloaded the demo and was impressed. Its like a mesh of a rts and a td, and has an charming cowboy style to it. *Not sure if either are on the ipad..
i've actually been playing the hell out of Monster Feed, that game is great. there's an iPad ver of GunsNGlory. I got the lite version but it wasn't my type of TD. it was kinda interesting though. I did read that the iphone version is a little different than the ipad version. in the controls or something

Im looking to pick up a good TD game for my iPad. The Creeps HD or Zombie Attack Second Wave? Also, how many maps do each of them have?
are there no good UNIVERSAL ones out there? I dont have an ipad but I look for games mainly (if possible) for universal builts in case I get one day my ipad 2G *haha*
Surprised there isn't more talk of Bug Heroes. I was up till 5 a.m. playing it last night. It's absolutely stunning how great the game is.
