Hey friends, I'm looking for some inspiration time as I work on OmnomBot.

What are your favorite 'one button' (or very simple interaction/timing) games? Which do something unique beyond the infinite runner mechanic that you find interesting and why?

    Orbital, by a long shot.

    Overall fantastic game.

I'll have to think about others...

Well, I'll go ahead and say Tiny Wings, since its success and ever-strong popularity is a testament to its flawless formula.

While I'm threading along obviousness, why not give a word for one of the original endless runners, Canabalt. I personally think it has been surpassed by Monster Dash and Rogue Runner though.

The Chop Chop games are one button games. Some are pretty good.

If you consider one finger use, like swiping or tapping where you want to go, then these ones are really good: To-fu, Gesundheit, Get Out Of My Galaxy.

I like Golf Putt Pro. Simple and addictive.

Tiny wings is the best for me as a designer, but as a player the one button game I've played the most is Super Spike Dislike!

One of my favorites is One Button Bob, a platform style game that provides the perfect demonstration of the possibilities.

  9. Hmmm, surely Robot Unicorn Attack? :D

Our game based on the similar simple control idea.
But to increase challenge we added multitouch on top of it.

    Check it out here.
