Between Punch Quest and Rayman Jungle Run, I choose the last one for its lack of IAP (only costumes and characters) and for its outstanding quality, level design, variety and controls. Its a perfect iPhone game and the best runner (non-endless, but please add an endless mode Ubisoft)
Well... it is a damn good game. Actually except for 10000000, i think any of the candidates deserve GotY. These are all top-of-the-foodchain titles. Dont get me wrong on 10000000 though. I loved it so much til i got to finish it, but the one-trick-pony thing doesnt really shout GotY for me.
It's actually starting to get pretty close now, I wouldn't count out Bastion or Walking Dead out yet. Looks like fat lady hasn't quite sung yet.
No, I'm not saying it isn't a good game, I'm sure it is, but I'm just kinda surprised it's winning, being that people have only had, what, a month or two with it? But more power to it! I also kinda wanted Swordigo to win, too.

Yeah, there were 14 votes that were deemed eligible by crex and were removed. With them, Ravensword 2 would have had 47 votes.
That was a LOT of votes for Ravensword 2 to lose. Does CM even have that many developers?? Still a strong showing for a just-released game. As others have said, you can look at this list and say 2012 was a VERY GOOD year for iOS gaming. Hats off to all the devs. We can only hope 2013 is as good or better. (Gimme Swordigo 2, dammit!)

RS2 was developed by a 4 man team. I still can't believe it lost. I demand a recount. Some of Bastion's votes MUST have been fake or shill or paid for or SOMETHING!! Though in all fairness it is a great game, but what happened to the "it's a port, not an iOS original" crowd?
Yeah its a shame when that happens. In the past we've had some dodgy voting, eg members of the team vote themselves which is wrong. Other times people say on twitter or facebook 'please vote for our game here....' which is wrong also (Meant to be a poll of proper TA members, not just newbies joining in just to vote). Over the months we've seen this happen quite a lot of times. All it takes is one fan of a game to ask his friends/facebook/twitter people to vote for a game and then it looks suspicious. Often the devs dont know anything about it.
Don't forget, this got a frontpage TA mention so it was always likely folks with 0 votes hopped in and cast a legitimate vote. 14 seems a lot. I think Crex has to detail out why they were taken out. Based on what criteria I mean. I don't try to challenge you, just want everything to be transparent. That's all.
