iphone safari friendly change > to Next>

Discussion in 'Site Feedback and News' started by mrbass, Mar 6, 2009.

  1. Change > to Next> in vbulletin (that is an order) lot of times at 3am if I'm in bed trying to read this forum it's a constant zoom in and hope I hit the right button to advance to next page in thread. Next> would be big enough for my finger to hit it in landscape mode without having to zoom in.

Thread pages were originally labeled on top and bottom as 1234> now they are 1234next> Making it much easier to touch the next> button from a touch/phone without having to zoom to 300%!

Edit: oh, and there is a prev< as well :D

At the top and bottom of each page on the forums, it says "Page x of x", then "<< First < Prev", then some page numbers, and then some page numbers and then "Next> Last >>"

The words "Prev" and "Next" were added to make it easier to tap with your finger. Before, you just had one small arrow to go to the next or previous page so either you had to really zoom in a lot, or you had to tap and have the risk of tapping on the wrong button. So it's easier to navigate now. :)

Thanks, mrbass and arn. I've always had that problem, I just never considered it might be solvable :)

How about a mobile version of the site. Like at the bottem of the page it could say view for mobile devices. It would help alot of the iPhone browsers here's pages load faster and render quicker. Is that hard to do?
