Is there some Doungeons & Dragons game for iPhone or iPad? Turn-base style game.

There was D&D Tactics for PSP and now I sow that new D&D game will soon be on Facebook.

Is there something similar on Iphone or iPad?

The closest is probably Avadon: The Black Fortress for iPad. Companions is real-time, but has a similar feel (though more of a dungeon crawler, not as story-driven as Avadon). On iPhone, there's Final Fantasy Tactics, but most folks wouldn't say that it has a D&D feel. Undercroft does, but the combat is not tactical -- it's more like Wizardry.

There's no official D&D rules games on iOS at the moment. If I would recommend just one game in that vein, it would be Avadon.

You might want to check out The Quest, turn based, open-world fantasy rpg that is closer to the Elder Scrolls style, but still not a D&D game and it's a solo only RPG.

Going solo pretty much kills the D&D vibe in my view.

Yeah I don't disagree. Party is key in D&D rpgs.

The Quest has that D&D depth of roleplay and character development that I don't see in any other on the iphone. So thought I just throw it out there.

Undercroft is very similar to the old Gold Box style WRPGs like Eye of the Beholder. And it does have a party system, unlike The Quest. :) It's also free!

Have you tried Rimelands? I've not explored the genre much on the idevice but played D&D as a youth and Rimelands does have the same feel to me. Hope that helps. Good luck.

    Definitely DragonBane II! ;)

It'll bring you back to 1986 and make you feel like you're playing The Bards Tale II, complete with ancient graphics...

That's kinda strange there isn't a classic D&D game out for iOS. Heck, even the books would be fantastic candidates for iBooks.

I remember hearing about Daggerdale coming out but that was more of a hack 'n slash.

That reminds me, Fabled Lands is a pretty good RPG/gamebook, but it's single-character.

I guess the best thing you could do is boot up some of the old Gold Box games under Dos Box.

    scnr :)

it's based upon D&D, too, in terms of party, combat, stats and spells.

Now that's neat! As hellish and frustrating at times the original trilogy was, I am seriously considering to buy those, for old times' sake.

Bard's Tale, where getting back to the Adventurers' Guild alive is an adventure in itself. Ah memories and melodies...

    QuestLord is worth picking up.
+1 to recommending Silversword; that game gets seriously overlooked and is a very detailed fan update/homage to Bard's Tale.

Works for me. I have the whole series and numerous FRUA mods installed. A bit of a problem though for those who don't have iDOS. I've never tried Aemula to see if that works...
