    Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forums and we just released our debut game, Operation Smoochy, for purchase on the AppStore for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

Operation Smoochy is inspired by my Boston Terrier, Smoochy (my wife named him; I swear :)) and the premise of the game is simple, but the levels themselves are quite challenging: Roxy and the puppies have been captured by the evil monsters. Get revenge by using Smoochy to blast your way through hordes of zombies, killer clowns and frankensteins using a combination of reflex and skill.

Since we are a very small team (3 people basically), we didn't think we could just repackage an existing game with new graphics and be successful so we tried creating almost new user controls for Apple devices. They are really taken from more of an old arcade game (remind me of Galaga).

As we are trying to sell to casual gamers (who like challenges), I was wondering if these folks have Angry Birds syndrome and if controls aren't instantly intuitive/easy like A Birds, they will think the game is too hard and say next game.

    Any thoughts appreciated. :)

Btw, our game is at http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/operation-smoochy/id555651007?mt=8

Our game trailer can be found at http://www.youtube.com/OperationSmoochy.

I'd love to hear people's thoughts/criticisms at [email protected] as well.

Thanks for your time. I appreciate it!
    Marc
