Like using the computer in the kitchen instead of the one in the living room or bedroom? Hope it clicks.
I typed out that exact sentence but decided to hit the back button instead. Non-troll post: Offer gift cards/promo codes.
Make a notfication that appears from timt to time that asks players to give feedback "in order to improve the game experience"
I'm in the kitchen making oleander tarts, want to come for dinner? either people get it and don't like it and don't want to say so or they CBF. I dunno, I am getting frustrated with lack of feedback though. Thanks JS
I haven't tried your game, but my feedback would be: Make the hexagons equidistant. Use a bold typeface. Rethink the bumblebee-patterned text (yes, it's thematically rich, but readability is more important. Upload more than one screenshot. Possibly hire an artist to render the honeycomb. The gradients aren't cutting it. My apologies, if it is currently your own artwork, but hey, tough love, babe. If all else fails, write a Choose Your Own Adventure game. You have a great sense of humor; use it to your advantage. The hook is that it's autobiographical. The player makes decisions, based on real(ish) choices you had to make in your own life, then see how they do. If anyone wins, do what they did, but in real life. Keep trying, don't be discouraged, and good luck.
Also, how do you know all this without trying it? What bumble bee patterned text, I'm a little confused on that one? Thanks so much, this is the very first non biased feedback I have gotten and I need as much as possible if I am going to learn
*eyeroll@me* I just went to play the game and realised you mean the honey on the score and the word? An artist did the hex background, I thought they were equal, but I know the texture when you tap a letter isn't properly equal, and the textures when the hexes change colour aren't either, it throws it off when letters start changing colour. It frustrated the hell out of us. It's a code thing we haven't worked out yet. We thought there was no solution. Any tips?
