WordSnake is a great board game/word game and looks good on the iPad. For 99 cents, that's a great deal. The iPad version video has been added below. It looks awesome! The iPad version is in production and coming soon. http://obogames.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/ws-ipad-3-e1281827319403.jpg WordSnake Thread to learn some tips. Enjoy WordSnake
True, but since it plays so well on the iPad now, it's worth paying only 99 cents instead of the $4.99.
So it's not going to be universal it seems by your reply to DaviddesJ, bummer. Since it plays so well on the iPad now how about a video of that?
Played this game a few times (on the iPad) and I have really enjoyed it! It is a good work out mentally. If you're a fan of the genre this is an easy pick up. The movie pretty much explains everything so I won't go into that, but I can say that iy looks smooth on the iPad.
Why wait? Agreed, except there is no reason to wait for an iPad version when it looks so good now, and for just 99 cents.
Soon iPad version of WordSnake has some features requiring some tricky code. We hope to be testing by October and release in November. Until them, the iPhone version should do you right on your iPad.
960 Screenshot of my new high score for WordSnake on the iPad. This is an shot taken right before the last tile is played to make the word, EARNED. Let me know if anyone is scoring higher.
What kind of a word is EARNE? Or MINNI? Or GAH? Or RO? Is there something I don't get about how this game works?
Those aren't words, so they aren't highlighted in blue, thus no points are awarded for them. You are given tiles that you don't have to use. You can throw them off to the side. You don't get any points for letters that aren't used to make real words. The object of the game is to string together words scrabble-style to get from one side of the map to the other.
