I am wondering if this game is nothing but a joke for IOS devises. This game was said to come out almost exactly a year ago! With minimal information and screen shot ect... I would like some proof this is coming. SE is really letting people down with this "supposed title."
The said it would release Spring 2011 -- which means any time before June 21st. Let's wait till them to start getting paranoid.
Actually, they didn't. The original release date was supposed to be September 2010 (though I don't remember seeing anything official to that effect). When that date was missed, some folks speculated that it would come out in December. However, as far as I know the only official date from SE has been Spring 2011 If FF3 is any indication, we'll start seeing marketing for the game just before it goes live.
When it does release let's hope it the iPhone & iPad version both on the same day. Square is notorious for releasing iPhone version first, and then weeks/ months later iPad HD version pops. At the $12.00 - $15.00 they charge for their rehashed games in the first place. Even so Tactics on iPad will be worth the wait/price. If done right it will be perfect game for touch devices
They've said that they delayed the release until Spring 2011, give them the benefit of the doubt and just wait. Almost. C:
