Just a few days ago, It was announced that the 4th (and hopefully final;)) book in Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle: Inheritance, was announced. Its release date is November 8th. Who else is PUMPED for what will be the greatest fantasy epic of the past decade?!

Well I want to read it as I guess everyone who read the first 3 books does I was a bit stumped when the third book ended as I honestly thought it was a trilogy at the time and didn't realise it had been split.
Sooner the better before I forget any of the sub plots.

Eragon is the very definition of a modern classic.

Modern classic? God no. Overhyped stuff. Everything about it is cliché, but a great place to start reading fantasay.

Yeah, the first book is basically fantasy Star Wars, but as the series goes on, it expands into something EPIC.

Read all three, I know what I'm talking about. But the storyline's complexity or originality can't be compared to the work of, let's say Steven Erikson, or the simpler Raymond E Feist.

I read the 1 and the 2, but I didn't read the 3 even if I have it. Now, if I want to read the saga, I'll have to reread 1 and 2 (because I don't remember anything) and start 3 and 4. So long, but I guess those books worth it.

I love the books and they are really enjoyable to read but this classic talk is cOmplete bull. The first 2 were just remakes of star wars in q fantasy setting. If you look through them you'll find tonnes of similarities that it is just ridicolous.

Go read A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin if you are looking for the most epic fantasy saga. The 5th book of that series is coming out this summer. As for the Inheritance series, I agree with the general consensus that it's all cliche and boring.

It's hard to say these are great books, but they are exciting and I'm looking forward to the last one.
