Any title that quotes a Beatles song is alright with me. BTW according to Dumaz, this game doesn't exist.
Hmmm, I wonder why he thinks that? The site has fairly recent news and comments. I've also known about it for a while but didn't bother making a thread for it until now.
I was being facetious. He keeps insisting that there will be no more games made with the Unreal engine -- part of his whole cranky theory of videogame economics.
I know it's none of my business, but what's the point of saying that? You're just going to start an unnecessary argument. Anyway, this game looks good, but I hope the devs don't dumb it down too much. After BFBC2, it and RAGE, it's hard to get hyped for another unestablished fps.
I don't mind arguing with dumaz: he's respectful, makes good points, and overall keeps things civilized. Whenever the issue of the Unreal engine comes up, however, he keeps insisting that licensing the engine is too expensive for the kind of price people are willing to pay for games on this platform. He's made the same point over and over (and over and over) again. This announcement proves him wrong -- I thought that was worth remarking upon. I'm not trying to pick a fight. In any event, we really don't know anything about this game at this point. But here's the song from where it gets its title:
By the looks of it it's only a multiplayer game (or so it seemed from the vid, I hope if they go that road they at least add a offline mode vs bots).
I totally agree, but I have hopes, after all modern combat 2 and nova 2 were pretty good fps games. If they just go down that road we have nothing to worry about.
there are a couple vids of the game on the site from the first post.... http://www.indiedb.com/games/warm-gun/videos/warm-gun-teaser-trailer teaser trailor from i think early beta testing
