Looks like it, seems you jump from cover to cover.

These dudes worked on Bioshock?
Can't wait... unless all you do is hang out behind cover... which seems to be the case. :/

well the player does seem to atleast controll where behind cover he is standing... I don't think this is on rails.

    Agreed!

This game looks bad a$$ and the team involved have great industry experience. I'm excited to see Unreal 3 mobile games really starting to shine and show us Infinity Blade wasn't a one off graphical fluke.

This and Afterlife (iPad thread) really show what's visually possible...These games are starting to show why I am disappointed in Gameloft's Use of UE3. March of Heroes LOOKS no different than their usual releases. With a revered engine and a bigger team and budget than Trendy of these guys, you'd think they could push the engine the most!

I'm glad to see other games push farther than Gameloft, hopefully relegating their games to aspire to be something more than they've become.

This game also reminds me a bit of P.N.03 (Shinji Mikami* Gamecube exclusive) and Vanquish (Shinji Mikami* directed) - but with robots.

Shinji Mikami - created Resident Evil series. Helped create Devil May Cry series and Viewtiful Joe.

Worked with Capcom, left Capcom after Resident Evil 4 broke Nintendo exclusivity (he was against it going in PS2).

    Formed Clover Studios (Godhand, Okami)

Now, with Platinum Games: Bayonetta, Madworld, Vanquish. Collaborated with Suda51 for Shadows of the Damned.

Shinji Mikami is now with a new operative company, signed to Bethesda/Zenimax.

(Shinji's my favorite developer- created Resident Evil! He's my Shigeru Miyamoto)

I wasn't too impressed by the trailer either. Aside from the gameplay (which doesn't appeal to me), the whole trailer just has a low budget, rushed feeling to it (I hope I'm wrong). The graphics are ok, but to me it doesn't look as good as some of the other upcoming games like Shadow Gun, March of Heroes, AfterLife, Warm Gun etc.

This looks like a futuristic Metal Gear Solid, which is also a game where you couldn't move freely.

But there's a strategy to the acrobatics and actions I'm sure.

It actually quite reminds me of a cult game from the Gamecube era PN 03, by Shinji Mikami - I'm imtruiged by Epoch's premise and ballet of the bullets, of you will.
