I went to ea's home site and didn't see the sale posted. Prices were regular.

Nothing compared to the epic sale last month :D

  4. I snagged Boggle for iPad even though Wurdle is awesome and got that already though Wurdle isn't universal.

Too bad this sale sucks. I would have picked up Mirror's Edge if this was a decent sale.

I played lite of skate it, and although I didn't think it was brilliant and very glitchy, is it worth bothering with? (Bear in mind I have Skater Nation, THPS2, Vans Pool)

Worth $0.99? I'd say definitely. Worth the $6.99 it originally was released at... not so sure.

I own every skateboarding game in the app store as well (THPS2,Touchgrind and Stick Skater being my personal favorites), and Skate It! is probably the one I've played the least. While there are a lot of customization options, I just found the frame rate to be sloppy, the tilt to turn mechanic annoying, and the gesture/swipe trick mechanic to be somewhat unresponsive and unreliable.

That being said, it still is a very large game, and the "idea" of the trick mechanic is pretty fun. It's great when it works.

I'd definitely recommend it for $0.99, even though I do have numerous problems with it.
