Hi all, Having released 'Quell' and 'Quell Reflect' in the last year, we wrote an overview of our creative process. It gives an insight into the creation of the first game, our artist process and our iterative approach to design, as well as containing this video showing our art evolution: If the article is of interest, we'd like to write more features of this nature in future, perhaps exploring our learning process on the marketing or technology side. The Making of Quell I didn't add it to the main Quell or Quell Reflect threads, as I felt it was seperate from the review / appraisal conversation, but feel free to merge if preferred.
Thank you for spending some time writing this and building a montage video. It is very educational, plus it shows the subtle qualities of Quell and the hard work you put into it. I would never have thought that so much thinking had been spent behind its look and feel.
