vbx47 is banned and immy is in time-out? Hmm, I thought they were the same person, seemed like too much of a coincidence. Anyway I'm glad vbx47 is banned.

Their hostmask is from the same cable node, they're likely living in the same neighborhood. I doubt he was cycling his cable modem and able to get two different IP's back and forth so quickly.

They are the same person, or friends. That's why they're being punished.

No he's just a typical FOX news-loving gun owner who seems to really love making that known to the world.

Is it just me or does that yard look quite a bit like your backyard Hodapp?

Or at least whatever yard you were in when you 'shot'(lol) that AR Drone Parrot video a while back...

So that begs the question: Is that Freedog in the video and you two are related and just having a siblings quarrel on differing, convoluted political views?

    :p

I seem to have missed this reply but... way to twist my words. I never once said all gun owners are murderers, but you can't deny they sure give the murderers an excellent sporting chance. Pile on top of that accidental deaths and murders that are commited through one-time acts of rage and the argument for stupidity in gun ownership laws really begins to take shape. I don't feel the need to own a gun to protect myself if someone breaks into my home, and do you know why? Because it's practically guaranteed that if it ever happened, that guy would not be carrying a gun.

I understand your need to feel safe, but I don't understand how you can deny just how nice it would be to have the peace of mind that you live in a country where you'll probably never see a gun, hear a gun, get shot at, or even know someone that's been shot at. I feel safe in my home, I'm just as evenly matched against intruders as you are against yours, but we didn't have to include firearms to arrive at that equation.

I'm not intending to stir the pot here and have a serious question to you Midian. Doesn't the UK have a massive issue with knife fights/deaths going on right now?

I ask because in all honesty I've grown up around both(knifes and guns) and the thought of murderers with knifes scares the shit out of me much more so than murderers with guns. That may be because I've only been around responsible gun owners and I know how to operate one, responsibly myself, although I don't own one.

I do however own many knifes/swords and the like and have seen people get in knife fights outside of my home in the past. Small, non-lethal fights, but scary nonetheless.

That being said, murderers just scare the shit out of me, regardless of weapon preference...

Yeah that is a problem at the moment to be honest, especially in and around London. It usually involves kids aged around 14-20 getting into fights with each other, adults don't seem to be carrying knives any more than they ever did so it's kinda restricted to a certain group. It's only cropped up within the past few years though, if we had knife crime at a low before we should be able to do it again.

I've never seen anyone outside with a knife myself, although I did own one when I was about 15... didn't threaten anyone with it and ended up trading it with a friend for a Dreamcast light gun and House of the Dead 2 :p
