Introducing Spycorp, a spy based action/puzzle platformer for the iPhone/iPod/iPad, and hopefully Android.

Spies. Secrets. Jetpacks. Diabolical plots. Ludicrous architecture requiring skillful jumping and grappling. Stealthy quiet sneaky-sneaking deep into arch-villain lairs. Sharks with frickin' laser beams on their heads.

    Mission Brief

Spycorp blends modern touch interaction and physics gameplay with throwback arcade fun wrapped in a clever tongue-in-cheek spy story. We're attempting to build mechanics that casual fans can play alongside their more "hardcore" gamer friends and family members.

Take charge of Agent Katt or Agent Shark -- or play both with a friend in multiplayer duet mode -- to stop the diabolical plot of a demented mastermind. Solve increasingly challenging puzzles requiring a combination of action, strategy, and timing, use stealth to sneak past patrolling minions, and collect jetpacks and other spy gadgets to help you avoid enemies and pitfalls while unraveling a story of espionage and deception that carries you from San Francisco to Venice to Bermuda to the rain forests of Belize (all curiously populated by platform-y structures that inspire wild jumping and rope use).

Looks good from pictures... but the video crashes at 20 odd seconds. It says 'video from our sandbox' - then the character falls down, freezes mid-fall and the time slider just keeps going! lol

Does the video off the Kickstarter page play without issues for you?

    Our Video

Hi guys, Sean here (the guy in the video building this game with Kris) --

For those who saw the video stop, was it the Vimeo video or the Kickstarter video that was shutting down on you?

I've created a couple more videos, one with our rope physics and gadget gameplay and another with our customizable input control options, and I'm wondering whether I should avoid Vimeo for them.

I'll do the obligatory YT video, but the quality there is not so great, and I've heard that some of my friends in Asia have ISP's that block YT anyway.

    Thoughts?

Also, just to clarify: the game will be released for iOS regardless, the KS funding is only to (a) bring it to Android as well and to (b) help us afford to launch with a multiplayer co-op server in the cloud. If the funding fails, the game will still be out for iOS, but multiplayer would be delayed and an Android version probably wouldn't happen.

    Thanks!

The Kickstarter video worked great. It's the other one posted first that stops after saying "video from our sandbox".
Can't wait to try the game out. Really liked Revolt as well.

I sooo want to see this game come to fruition! Honestly, it appears as though it has depth...quite compelling, truly. Hope some VC's look into their crystal ball and get you the capital you need, stat! Good luck. You'll be on my radar screen in the coming year.
