i'll make this poll just to know what most of you really think i understand that it's cool to have COD on our iDevices but with it's success seeing a full-featured COD game in the future is a bit impossible i don't hate the game coz i enjoyed it but id don't get it why they price it like that
great game and all, awesome and is probably better than a majority of the games out there, but in the end I wished i had spent the $10 on something else. don't get me wrong it's a great game with great graphics and the controls dont suck but i'd rather just play it on my xbox.
some apps is a bit tricky quality and contents should be considered if it really deserves to be there
i have it for xbox360 with all maps. and downloaded the lite version on my ipod touch. i can say unless all maps are free its not worth $10. i mean you could get xbox360/ps3/pc version for like $30 now(thats single player/multiplayer campign + zombies(splitscreen+online) + multiplayer online). and you a watered down version on the idevice with just 1 map of zombies with alright controls for $10? They are out of their minds lol. I think if they wanted to charge for each map, they could probably get away with $4-5 game + $3-4 maps.
It's getting a new map for 6 bucks. Now that is overpriced. ...even though I'm probably going to get it.
I personally think so. I don't have nor want CoD4, and to play this, I don't need to boot-up my xbox and find other people that aren't playing MW2. I've gotten my money's worth already.
what does cod4 have to do with zombies lol? and you dont need to invite friends to play zombies on cod waw. You can search for players like you do for matchmaking. im sure there are ALOT more people playing xbox/ps3/pc version too, so you will get to find games faster, and with different/more people. The only advantage about idevice version is you can play it for like 4-5 hrs until battery dies when not at your house where the pc/console version is lol. Or if you dont have the pc/console versions to play to begin with. i still think its best to wait til the new map comes out, im sure they will no doubt lower the price of the game.
I do love the game, but its about time they released a decent campaign along with modern combat : Sandstorm style online multiplayer version. I enjoy having a go every now and then but its not a game I play all the time. It shows the potential for creating future COD games on the platform, but do agree that the price considering your just getting one map is cheeky. But they can get away with it because of the huge fan base for COD. Will have to see what the future brings!
cool i think there should a COD thread everyday this one is especially snazzy with the poll and all. i pfft anyone who downloads the lite version thats too much work. pfft ---sincerley, Mr. Sarcasm but seriously it seems like there is one of these threads everyday.
I really loathe the entire FPS genre but something about this game really keeps me coming back to it. Maybe it's the fact that co-op is more enjoyable then having to play against the hardcore kiddies who play nothing but Halo or Quake 3 or whatever it is they're into now days.
