DBC undeadcow Well-Known Member Dec 4, 2010 9,493 2 36 Houston, TX #12 undeadcow, Sep 17, 2013 Worms was originally released on PC in 1995. It's a turn based strategy game with 2D sidescrolling movement. Each team of ~5 worms is randomly positioned at the start of the level and fights an opposing team. There are all sorts of crazy weapons with different proximity effects, ranges, etc as well as tools (i.e. you can tunnel, or fly with a jetpack). On the PC the original Worms, to me, was amazing and a lot of fun but the iOS port left something to be desired. Worms was successful enough to launch over a dozen sequels/expansions/spin-offs. Worms 3 is now an iOS exclusive and I can't comment on this specific product yet but for $0.99 it seems like a reasonable buy. CygnetSeven Well-Known Member Feb 6, 2010 7,580 27 48 #13 CygnetSeven, Sep 17, 2013 First sig worthy line I've read in a while. I was really surprised how well it works, weren't you? I was skeptical at first but of the four titles, it's probably my fave, but thats a tough call. It really stands on it's own and although it borrows from the original, it doesn't feel like it.
