It is my FAVORITE puzzling platform game, and it is great fun. I too have both versions of the game and both of the versions are good. Buy the hd version it is amazing looking, it makes the game so much more immersive and looks better than most console games. The only negative is it is 5x bigger at around 500 mb. If you have a new ipad or plan on buying the ipad 4, then get this by all means. If you are really low on disk space, buy the sd version. This is a really great game, you would have to be crazy to pass this up for a buck. Also, Tentacle and Fire Busters just came out this week, they too are great games for a buck. If you happened to be an early adopter and lost a buck on this sale, I feel for you, but the developer has chosen to be nice and now make the game universal and also is adding more levels to the game. But I can understand if there is any frustration with it. I had posted some screenshots from the hd version from the main thread from my new ipad. Swipe left and right to see the pictures. https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=AA2FF02C15E8BE2F!130&authkey=!ANlz_qohXMC0PXw These pictures weren't really posted to be screenshots but for something else but I am really busy this weekend so don't have time to put up some really good ones but take a look. Also check out the main thread, remember to swipe left/right for more pictures on my link. I don't wanna end up regretting it if I ever do pick up an iPad in the future and it's just a buck. Also, I think the non-HD version is insanely under-priced, so there's no harm in throwing another buck at FlexileStudio. The sd version plays just the same and it has really good graphics too. I have an iphone 4, 8 gb, and I got the sd game on it cause of the disk size. So it isn't worth it. But, on my new ipad it is a totally different story, cause the graphics just make the game shine. Plus this game is relatively low priced anyway even at full price, which is nice of the developer, and probably at some point, it will go back on sale again or maybe be permanently set to 99 cents. september Well-Known Member Sep 14, 2012 2,673 0 0 #14 september, Oct 7, 2012 Not that I really mind, but only just bought this yesterday. I have access to an ioad but rarely use it, and the file size would take up 1/8th of my remaining PC hard drive space. Time to hook up that 1 terrabyte external drive I picked up yesterday. Wimp Well-Known Member Sep 29, 2012 201 0 0 #19 Wimp, Oct 7, 2012 There is no a lot of difference for iPad 2, just textures are not compressed But if you love a good quality image, i recommend you to try HD version. september Well-Known Member Sep 14, 2012 2,673 0 0 #20 september, Oct 7, 2012 Yeah I understand, but the types of players you're engaging are those that have been taught to wait by developers for the 99 cent sale. It only promotes and enforces not adopting a game early. Not upset though, I feel the game is worth a lot more than what I paid for it. I just wish devs would stick to their guns a little longer.
