This game is not retina ipad, and looks pretty bad on my new ipad. Most hd games play well on my new ipad even without ipad retina but this game really needs it. Good game otherwise. SyKot Well-Known Member Sep 10, 2012 55 0 0 #6 SyKot, Oct 13, 2012 I think "pretty bad" is an exaggeration. Pretty bad might imply that it is bad, but that is not really what I mean. I should say it looks blurry on my ipad. Most games that are hd ipad games do support retina hd nowadays. I know this game is old and stuff, but is one that needs a retina upgrade because of this blurriness problem. Many non retina games still look sharp on my new ipad but not this one in my humble opinion. But yeah, pretty bad is not the correct term, maybe disappointing is a better one. Wish it looked like Contre Jour Hd. If people are really that cheap, okay I guess, but you might be waiting a long time. violentv Well-Known Member Nov 4, 2010 912 0 16 #11 violentv, Oct 13, 2012 In about 3-4 years and you can probably pick up skyrim + xcom for under 20 bucks! zzz why buy them now right? Greyskull Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2009 5,588 1 38 Photographer/Social Sciences adjunct/sweet sweet l Fort Lauderdale #12 Greyskull, Oct 13, 2012 Well...X-Com can be had for well under 20 bucks and Skyrim can probably be had for $20...I might as well waited on Skyrim seeing as my PC runs it like **** and I've therefore put in less than 30 minutes of play time. SyKot Well-Known Member Sep 10, 2012 55 0 0 #13 SyKot, Oct 13, 2012 I have the new iPad. Haven't played Contre Jeur HD but I must say that for instance Wimp HD looks gorgeous on the new iPad. Words of Goo could have looked better on the new iPad but I think its unique graphic style doesn't really need retina graphics to shine like some other games. I agree with everything you say especially that Wimp hd looks rad on the new ipad. I like worlds of goos game concept and it is very original and somber cute. Give contre jour lite a try if you like these style of games, i don't think they have an hd lite version, but their sd universal lite version does and it has this same style of graphics. Goo is a Cool game, highly recommended especially on sale!
